How do I define a custom Cost Estimate within my Wizeline product?

Cost Estimate is a field within Wizeline features that you can define with:

  • A cost estimate name which you can define (e.g. budget, eng hours, Fibonacci sequence)
  • A cost estimate description which is shown in a tooltip to your other Wizeline team members throughout the app (e.g. Approved Budget by PMO, SWAG estimate of story points by eng lead)

To define Cost Estimate for a product:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Click View Options under Cost Estimate
  4. Select the product you want to define Cost Estimate for
  5. Click Edit
  6. Define name and description
  7. Click Save

If you do not define Cost Estimate, the default stays "Cost Estimate".
